Studio Services

Skymark has a very well established Studio Services Department with over 10 years of experience. Its main role is to transform the customer's artwork into polymer form suitable for flexographic printing. This is done by using our internal and external resources along with the latest technology. Our aim is to supply the highest possible standard in line with the customer's expectation for a diverse range of products. Skymark have formed very close partnerships with a number of repro houses who help with our commitment to supply a prompt, quality and problem free service providing one of the fastest lead times in the business.

Plate Making

On site we have a conventional BASF flow-line system using ozone friendly Nylosolve solvent. A maximum plate size of 920mm x 1200mm can be processed on this equipment. All is in accordance with stringent quality assurance practices and procedures.

Externally we have access to digital imaging equipment. This enables Skymark to provide one of the largest and highest quality plates in the business.

In our studio we have two G5 macintosh work stations along with a wide format (42') Hewlett Packard design jet printer. We can accept artwork in the latest programmes available (refer to artwork guidelines). With these internal resources we are able to turn line artwork around very quickly when required. For a more complex process design we call upon proven repro houses to supply high quality repro at competitive prices.
