Our graphic design department can design and produce finished photo polymer printing plates in the shortest time possible; from the simplest pencil sketch to camera ready artwork. We utilise computer aided reprographic systems to produce digital based artwork which enables our artists to create pack designs, provide accurate proofs for customer inspection and produce artwork for transfer to printing plates. All this can be done via PDF or Files using ISDN. The final position of the printed image is crucial to the finished appearance of the pack and must be planned accurately when printing on any flexible substrate. At Skymark we have a wealth of experience on the print positioning and lay sheet requirements of our customer's auto wrapping machines. Our close liaison with the machine manufacturers ensure that we keep abreast of all current specifications.

Our latest investment in printing press technology include an 8 colour PCMC Vision II and two 8 colour Fischer & Krecke Flexpress 16 S 'Gearless' Presses, which are capable of producing much more efficiently than was previously available, hence providing our customers a quicker turn around time.
Our wide range of ceramic anilox rollers and the latest thin coated sleeve system gives us flexibility and enables a wider variety of print designs to be efficiently produced. The latest Video Systems are used to continuously monitor the print quality and permits minute adjustments whilst running at speeds up to 360 meters per minute!
Our printing inks are freshly blended for each print run by our computer-controlled mixing and dispensing system. Each new batch is reproduced exactly to the original formula and checked by means of a colour computer. This is to ensure that the most delicate or difficult colours are reproduced consistently every time.
Our full range of printing presses enables us to service the full requirement range of our customers. Whether the print design requires a narrow width 8 colour press or a wide width press with repeats up to 1400mm, we are able to help.
